When I receive great feedback from clients it's an amazing feeling to know that I have played a small part in the success of their journey. Don't get me wrong I love the mushy, positive, warm, kind feedback but I thrive and grow from receiving the constructive feedback. As a coach and mentor part of my own personal development and growth means I need to receive the tough stuff too, this also means both myself and my coaching and mentoring improve and evolve. Part of what I encourage clients to do is incorporate reflective practice into their daily routine. This is something I try to do every day in a journal or on a template, I can share it with you, pop a quick message via the contact form or press this button.
One of the things I noticed working with Jo is
how much more I focus on and what I'm accomplishing. Looking at the tasks that make up the complete project and breaking these down - made a massive difference and being honest in how long these task are actually going to take. A lot of this has been Jo educating me as to how I think about/tackle tasks, and honestly it's made the biggest difference to me.Breaking things down, and looking at the smaller picture to be able to focus on the end goal! I've been able to complete things that have been on my list for ages, but have just felt a bit overwhelming. But now they are done and ticked off. She also encourged me to run the survey and looking at the responses (and feeling proud of these).
Working out "me" and my USP.

After being made redundant, I approached Jo for help with CV guidance and job searching advice. She helped me with my confidence which was quite low at the time and talked through the skills that I could offer a potential employer. Her positivity really made me feel better about myself and now I feel more confident when applying for jobs. She has helped me think 'outside the box' and consider different possibilities that I wouldn't have thought of myself. I can highly recommend Jo and I have found a mentor that really knows how I think. Lisa B
Thank you Jo! I think everyone learnt something today from your talk. I know I did. It has fired me up to make sure that we continue to educate employers on the effects menopause can have on the work place. Lindsey Gamister Director/Head of Employment Law, Bhayani HR & Employment Law
You're style of questioning and challenging me is very relaxed. I felt you just understood me and the pressures I face and I never once felt that you were going in the wrong direction with your coaching or that there was no purpose to some of the excercises. Sarah, Financial Services
I have genuinely loved our sessions and found them so useful and important to talk things through with a totally impartial 3rd party. Being given the space and time to talk largely just about me and situatons that I have been in and challenges I am faced with is fairly rare. Jo has been able to give me certain tools and insights that I didn't have previously that have really helped me in my day to day life. Rebecca,
Head of Conveyancing
Working with Jo is a pleasure, it's more than just a mentorship, it's a partnership! Over a period of a month Jo not only helped me identify the valuable parts I had missed within my business plan but offered helpful and realistic advice that allowed me to begin to fill in these gaps, to suit the resources I had at my disposal. Jo does not stop at the written words on a page, she also takes into account you as a person and how this can be used to strenghten not only your skills but also how this can have a positive impact on your business model. More than that though Jo became a good friend and someone to confide in, talk to and make sure that you are in fact sane and not going off on a path that makes no sense. I would 100% recommend Jo to anyone that wants to, or needs to just have that support we all need from time to time. Jim Hendley AEI Acoustics
